Swimming Pool Acid Wash in Orlando Florida

Does my swimming pool in Orlando
need an acid wash?

An acid wash is best performed every few years. The purpose of the
acid wash is to remove buildup on the swimming pool plaster or
aggregate (like pebble-tec). This is done my first emptying the swimming
pool (and spa if you have one) completely. We will drain the pool using a
gas powered clear water pump. We can drain an average pool in 1.5
hours.

We will then start the swimming pool acid wash in Orlando by adding just
enough acid to the plaster and allow it just enough time to remove any
mineral or calcium buildup but not leaving it on your pool plaster for
enough time to remove much plaster. We want to remove only a very
thin layer of plaster. This, along with some good scrubbing with a special

the best result that you can expect (from any company) is the removal
of some of the stains and a brighter or whiter appearance overall. Acid
washing will not cause your swimming pool plaster to turn one single
shade of color, the color discolorations will still be present to an extent
but the brighter plaster underneath as well as the removal of many types
of stains always leave our customers happy.

Just like a chlorine bath, and acid wash can be very dangerous, even
deadly, if done incorrectly. The process is also very likely to be harmful
to your pool if completed by a provider or company that lack the
knowledge necessary to know the correct mixtures and dilution rates
and acid hang time (amount of time the acid is allowed to remain on your
plaster before it is removed) for your particular pool. Make sure that no
matter who you choose to use, that they are a professional company
that knows what they are doing and are both licensed and insured.
